I have Octavia Mk2 pre-FL from 2007 with Stream MP3 + AuxIn + CD-Changer, no steering wheel controls nor maxidot.

 

Look at the quadlock connector in the picture, there's a blue connector on the right for the CD-changer and AUX-in.

And there's an empty slot on the left for a similar connector which is marked in the scheme with pins for "telephone".

 

What is it?

Is there any product, maybe some sort of hands-free adapter that I could easily buy and fit in there?

It's the input / output plug for the microphone etc. from a Bluetooth kit. If you fit an OEM Bluetooth kit then that port will be used.

Thanks, do you know what the specs of the OEM kit are?

Or is there an after market compatible product available?

There's a few different types and part numbers depending on what you need and what phone you have, but something like 7P6 035 730 M is about the sort of thing. There's the actual Bluetooth module, then there's also a wiring loom and microphone.
