What colour is this Octavia?

Featured Replies

Hi All

Bit of a strange one. I follow an Instagramer with a beautiful mk3 Octavia RS/VRS that he showcases on there.

(If you're not on there already Skoda has a nice big following and there are many great people to follow :) )

Here are a few snaps of his car. I'm keen to find out what colour this one is. The user states it is 'steel grey.' However I'm aware that not only are colour names alternated for different markets, some colours have discontinued etc.

At present in the U.K we can configure with a colour called (meteor grey) which looks very similar, although in some images the users car looks to have an almost champagne colour.

I'm more keen to find out the colour of his Mk3 FL 1 as I want be buying a Mk3 FL2 anytime soon :D

Best Wishes

Interesting comment re the champagne tinge, mine almost looks beige in certain conditions :whew:

Meteor Grey is known as steel grey in most other countries AFAIK.

I love it.

Thank you both. Meteor Grey is the one I am after then. Looks fantastic, and I'm a little embarrassed to say that I might copy the blue parking lights too :) Channeling my inner teenager.

Wait till you see how it looks in the sunlight :D

Meteor Grey looks great but doesn't half show the dirt!

Mmmmmmm, Intresting remark there Mr bear, I think the Meteor grey hides the dirt very well.

Perhaps Yorkshire dirt isn't quite as dirty as Southern dirt........

+1

I've had silver, Corrida Red and anthracite cars previously and Meteor Grey has been the best at hiding dirt so far, with silver a close second.

The dirt around here is the same colour as the car, cement grey!

Meteor Grey - is that the one also known as Gloss Primer...   ???   :D

Yep ..... Primer Grey :D

Meteor grey has been the best colour I've owned with hiding dirt.
