Had my new shiny Octavia SEL estate for 5 weeks now, generally very pleased, love driving it. 

 

However 2 weeks in, the aircon lost all its gas, just in time for the few weeks of hot weather down here in the South.  *Still* waiting for it to be re-gassed, apparently it's a newer type of refrigerant.  Not best pleased right now, as I bake sitting in traffic on the A4 every day!  Probably the only person that's hoping it starts raining soon...

Id visit the dealer and demand an old type courtesy car

Sounds very long to be waiting for that!  I agree with the above comment

Yes, week to book it in, week for the new gas (no stock of the new type they have to use now), then they forgot to order it...  After a bit of pushing yesterday they now appear to have some today and it can now be re-filled.  Apparently no leaks which does make you wonder where it all went!?

 

Otherwise really pleased with the car, and after driving manual for the last century or so love DSG, especially on the crawl in to work!
