I have just serviced my variable service yeti.
I have reset the oil service indicator using the odo zero button.
But how do I reset the inspection service indicator.
Also I believe that by setting the oil service indicator myself I may have switched oil services to fixed, is that true.
If so how do I switch completely to fixed servicing and get rid of the annoying service indicator message.

1/ I've never heard of that method. Can you explain please?

2/ Although it can be done in the Maxidot menu I don't think that does it fully, and for that you need VCDS.

3/ Never heard of it. As above thought you needed VCDS to do that.

4/ VCDS again, and you will still get a message when the service is due.

to reset using odo , think you press odo and then turn on ignition!  -  tried it once but can't clearly remember sequence.

Then press minute button when message asks if you want to reset.

To reset the inspection light.. Turn on the hazard lights first then carry out the same sequence as to reset the service light
