Air freshener advice

Featured Replies

Can anyone recommend a good car air freshener spray? Im looking for a spray as the hanging ones dont last long enough and the canned ones are way over powering for my liking.

Thanks

I've actually just received my new air-freshener spray from jayswax (Millionaire) it's called & it smells nice, like the aftershave scent but not overpowering, it is a sweet but pleasant smell & seems to last a decent while, I spray it just on the carpet area (footwells) & on my seat covers. I got mine from ebay, & purchased 3 of these bottles http://www.boots.com/boots-travel-spray-bottle-100ml-10212539 & filled them up 3/4 of the way, to leave them in my vehicles.

Avoid ones with liquid or California Scents. If they tip or leak the chemicals inside can do quite a bit of damage to interior plastic surfaces or the film on some plastics (some such as BMW have a coloured film on top of the plastic surface which can peel off).

Yep. Seen a leaking fabreeze air freshner do this to BMW. Fortunately it was just the inside of the cup holder.
