VRS high idle

Featured Replies

Hello everyone I've a question.

Sometimes my car is idling at around 1000-1100 rpm. Is this normal? If not, what would cause the car to idle so high?

It’s to do with the ambient temperature, and if I remember correctly, fuel temperature.

This is can be edited in your mapping :) you can choose what speed you’d like it to idle

In my case, "odd" idling was either CTS or FTS going tits up. Fuel/Coolant temp sensors. Though there was also a problem with late models and the accelerator pedal.

Do the revs drop back down if you tap the underneath of your throttle with your toe ?
