Hold on or terminate soon ? (PCP)

Featured Replies

Was in getting summer alloys swapped over to my winter ones at my local Skoda dealership and having a chat with the salesman seems I can termiate my pcp deal in a month or so (7wks). It's 42 months and due to finish in Sept 2018.

As I suspected there will be no equity in the car at the end and I suspect it's about to go into negative equity very soon.

Just wondering if I should change sooner rather than later. Had originally planned to keep it to the end but that seems a bit pointless.

Obviously salesman keen that I swap soon !

Current car is 1.6 tdi manual and would be looking to get a 1.5 tsi dsg.

Thoughts and advice welcome.

You could always try selling first. Get a We Buy Any Car quote, look for cars similar to yours on AutoTrader from dealers and stick yours up with a price somewhere in the middle.

Get a quote on the cost of the new car 1st, sales people are happist saying bull like "You'll get a new car for the same payments" only when you get the quote do you actually know

Terminate
