Hope you dont hate me to much for straying from the Czech camp, would have loved an Octavia but for the cash nothing appealed to me as much as the Primera.

150 bhp 2.0 16v SR20DE engine, leather, a/c, 6 disc changer, momo gearknob, Azev alloys and a stack of history to boot.

Better pics when shes home.

Quality motor, love the colour too...

Good luck with it mate! :)

Looks good mate

Once you've had a stunning paint job, you cant go back ey? :D

Now where on the dash would you fit one of these??

That is hypothetically speaking and assuming that you were to have one and that Tracey didn't find out you were bidding on it :P :D

Shhhhhhuuushhhh you

looks like a lovely colour. Drove one of these once couldnt get on with the accelerator and the foot rest a like thing next to it. Think my feet were to wide for it kept catching my foot on the thing instead of the loud pedal.

What's the little box?

Nice car, Ross - that colour is the best one. Always thought the rear looked great - somewhat let down by the front, but a nice motor none the less. Like the wheels.

Talex Speed detector

If it was mine....

I'd get clear side repeaters

An exhaust that looks half decent

Get the rear wiper to lay flat

Get some good ICE in there

Lowering springs

Nicer wheels.

Jobs a goodun!

Jees Tom, he's not got the bloody thing yet and you've just put a 2k deficit in his bank balance

In the interest of unbiased reviews....

"Don't Like it!"

Sorry, Ross, but may I mention the word Bland? The paint is a trick fixture but sadly doesn't rock in any other way for me. Hope it's reliable anyway.

Thats fine Royston just dont ask for any help ever again ok

;)

Marmite mate, bland yes it is, I plan to blend into the scenery.

Be nice to be able to just buy a car that looks good without meddling ....

Nothing wrong with the Primera -- not the worlds most exciting car - but it's got plenty of room and bullet proof reliability.

And the boot will take all the gear that Lummox Jnr will require !!

The Vitara went today also so we got a new car for Tracey aswell :)

(not actual car pictured, same colour though ;))

Ford Escort Finesse, 1999 V plate, EW, CDL, AC, PAS, 44k on the clock, MOT and Tax....£1600.

You certainly seem to have a knack of finding very clean looking cars

Edit: doh!

So he should........

After all he is in the trade - if he can't find a nice car or two , who can ??
