I had a GT too (S-reg 1998), although without the fancy paint.

Only replaced it with the Octy 4x4 because I needed the clearance and better change of not getting stuck in fields.

Completely different engine to the 1.8T - not quite a VTEC effect but it certainly opens up after 5000 rpm

So that's Ross, me, ColD, Doll, MisterGT ... quite a popular car

Edit: I remember the clutch being a bit more difficult to use than the Octavia. Fine once you're used to it, but it gave other people a hard time!
