I would add on that list 1.8tsi which I have but even with IRS the suspension is bad but at least it offers more aftermarket upgrades.

Thanks, my bad. 

The Australian market did not get the 1.8tsi for the mk3, or L&K models.

Same as UK market, less trims that the rest of europe. 

IRS also has on rear wheels wider track.
