Where to get VAG loom connectors - both ends?

Featured Replies

Hi, I've posted this in the general section. I'm often engineering diagnostics and fault solutions. There are many times when I want to 'break out' an in situ device like a sensor or valve to see what's going on in a running situation and to 'inject' test signals.  I need to be able to make up short test leads with the appropriate male and female automotive connectors, without spending a fortune on them. I know they can come in different pin versions and most of the important one's will be 5-7 in-line pins.

Can anybody help me with the connector series type used on our Skodas and if there's an aftermarket source to buy them cheap as one offs?  In the past I've found some females which are at the loom end sold as 'repair connectors' by the Stealer. But I would want both male and female? I'm not bothered about the super silicone waterproof sealing they come with.

Thanks
