193.

Back on day shifts.

Spent last night peeling sprouts and packing some more of our stuff for the move

You do realise this means your sprouts won't be ready until Hogmanay?

If I was to do it again, would prob not buy from friends like we did, too much stress and hoping on goodwill they work with you or you fall out.

187.

I dont understand why in this day if tech it still takes so long for money to move from 1 bank account to another.

Ive watched movies... crims are able to steal millions in minutes, 1dollar at a time from a bank server and its instantly in their hidden offshore bank. It takes my bank 4days to move money from itself to a solicitor account

And so, with 186 days until christmas,

We have reached peak summer - the solstice is upon us once more.. the short night and longest day.

Weather better be good.

Solicitor better get my house money!

Good luck!

What ive learned this week is this..

The fact the banks (3 different ones)managed to bounce money through 3 different accounts in 36hrs to close this deal proves that waiting 3-4days for transfers to clear is not necessary.. mortgage bank couldnt release money until tuesday, as thats the date that went in contracts, into our solicitors account, and then from there transfer to vendor solicitor account, all of which were different banks. So that trail didnt start until tuesday but was finished yesterday. Under normal conditions all that movement wouldve taken about 10days.. why?
