My favourite colour was the meteor grey but never saw a single petrol one when I was looking!

White and green were ruled out by my other half...

Mine isn’t the primer grey, it’s the grey grey! Funny how many people’s partners don’t like the green. Just so you know it’s not a woman thing, I really wanted the green but couldn’t find one with the spec I wanted in budget. Mind you, I didn’t think I’d even get a vRS in my budget, I was just lucky with mine so I couldn’t be fussy with the colour.

Hope you enjoy it!!

Nice...

You don’t see many in Race Blue :notme:

Seriously though, it does look nice. I’ve had 2 Race Blue VRS now, and it’s a lovely colour but fancied a change hence me joining #teamblack

Ive had mine 3 weeks and done full led interior light conversion, number plate led’s from an Audi, enabled lots of good stuff via vcds, hardwired a dash cam in, and looking at remap and alloys in the new year.

You say you have no plans, so don’t go reading any threads on here... it encourages you to spend!

Anyway, Enjoy your new car

Isn't Meteor Grey the best colour for the primer that goes underneath Race Blue? ;)

These gags / disputes seem to go round and round......

....and round.

But, doesn’t mean I don’t want to get involved!!

FWIW, I think the primer grey is a cool colour. Feels much more modern & fresh to me when compared against Race Blue.

Race Blue always makes me think of Mk2 pre-FL vRSs.

AG, the truth will out!

Race Blue will be consigned to history.

The error was opening it up as a colour option to the entire range.

I also quite like white - I have a white one and wouldn’t have chosen it from new, but I bought the car 2nd hand. It has grown on me as a colour, but I suspect it will not be so cool or popular before long. Fashions change.

So, primer is a good shout!

You're all wrong, I mean who couldn't resist a naked black booty

I like the nakedness.

I have debadged apart from the vRS badge.

I do quite like the debadging idea, have done it on most previous cars, does the one of the grille come off easy enough? Saw someone on here had coloured a couple of the slats which looked pretty sweet but would look sweeter with no vrs badge too (imo)

Is just the heat gun and dental floss technique for the boot badges?

Yep spot on. Might need some tar and glue remover to remove the residue left behind from the badge adhesive.

Now I do miss my Race Blue vRS - I think that they made a huge mistake when they changed the exclusivity from vRS only to any Octavia with the O3 - but I love the true Grey choice - Quartz Metallic Grey :D

Can you replace the bonnet badge too? Sure I've seen a black one...

Superskoda do them in various colours:

I think they are just held by adhesive again, but haven't removed mine or replaced it.
