why can't the 'fit' them now??

They can. The manual has all the info about them in there already.

Skoda UK have obviously decided not to offer the Kodiaq with it in just yet - but it is already available in other markets.

I'm getting a Karoq and am not really fussed about the digital dash, when I renew my PCP deal I will insist on dials.

You're getting a very nicely specced Edition. When it does come time to renew/change you might find that the digital dash version is all there is at a high trim level like the one on your Karoq.

Thats a great shame, as I don't really like the digital dash.

Just select the 'Dial' option when you get your digital dash and you'll be none the wiser!

Quite!

The virtual dashboard will be the dashboard on the Kodiaq from 2019mods.
The reason for it being available in Chec , is that all orders made there will not be fullfilled until after week 32, wich is the first prodution week of 2019 cars from Skoda this year due to the new WLTP rules.

All info from my Skoda dealer.

Surely not all Kodiaq's, only the higher specification versions?

What does WLTP stand for?

dont know if all versions get it, but at least Style, Sportline, Scout , and L&K, according to my prefered skoda dealer.

You can read about WLTP here:
http://wltpfacts.eu/what-is-wltp-how-will-it-work/

in short it is the new way of  demtermining emissons and fuel consumtion.. the WLTP is supposed to be very close to the real wolrd fuel consumtion You and I will have on our daily drive.
and,  with the WLTP the emissions and fuel consumtions change whenever you add or remove options from a vehicle. So the manufacturers will have to figure out a way to get every single version with or without  options true the government paper mill. This will be a huge and time consuming prosess, i.e. the reason for Skoda to push back the start of MY19 from  their normal model change week 22 to some time in August (week 32-34)
