Bluetooth not working on Bolero

Hello.

My 2014 Superb has BT installed. Everything was  working fine until about a week ago. Since then, the PHONE button just mutes the stereo, no phone menu comes up. The phone shows it is connected but the calls go to the phone itself instead of the system. What could be the issue? I've tried two phones, Iphone and android, and tried resetting to factory settings.

Looks like BT module or Bolero has some issues. Does your Bolero switch on/off when you engage and disengage ignition? Are you able to adjust the volume from steering wheel? If not then there is an issue between your Gateway and Bolero. If yes then try to locate and remove fuse for Bluetooth (or remove for few seconds plug from Bluetooth module).

The unit switches on and off with the ignition, and the volume control also works. Can you guide me to which connector is the BT unit? I read it is under the driver seat but there are a lot of connectors there.

VCDS scan to check for relevant faults, then possibly a new Bluetooth module.

Hi there I have this problem volume not working on steering wheel and Bluetooth not coming up or some times for 5sec and then disappears ,what you mean by  between your Gateway and Bolero, Skoda Superb MK2 L&K

Have you recently had a software update or changed coding to anything on the car?

Have you recently added a new user in Bluetooth?

Have you tried to pair a new phone which has filled the user spaces on the Bluetooth?

Have you unchecked a setting by mistake in the driver information display (DIS)?

What has changed on the car since it last worked?

Has another user (Bluetooth) driven the car and it is defaulting to searching for their phone?

When a call comes in, select the car for audio source from you phone instead of your handset.

 

Can you add pictures of what you see on the radio and the phone settings in the DIS, it may help someone spot something.

Keep it fairly simple first ie phone settings etc prior to spending out on diagnosis at a garage or fitting parts to try.

Bluetooth issues

Software version 012 from week 22 in 2013 all radios were updated for Bluetooth issues.

Superb 3T Bolero 3T0035156F But you need a measure code to implement it so only dealer can update it through normal channels. 

Dont know if it will fix your issue, it really needs a scan to have a better understanding of what’s going on.

Week 45 2011 on modified phone control unit to fix.

Parts from TPS will be the latest version.

Says this can happen due to volt drop on vehicle network eg when starting.

Unfortunately i have the same issue even after unplugging the system was there any fix on the below problem ?

 

It was working and seem to have just switched and stopped working. It will connect but no display.

I have to chime in as well, have a 2010 superb with bolero unit, I have Bluetooth in it and it worked when I got it used several years ago, but at some point it just stopped working, and now I'm thinking about really getting it to work again. 

 

I have tried unplugging, I have checked fuses (I think I have managed to check everything that has to do with phone or Bluetooth) 

 

Is my next option to search for a replacement BT unit? 

 

I have found one locally here in sweden but it's very pricey for a used part, the ones that are cheaper on eBay etcetera look to be in very poor condition and older than my car is.

Hi all,
Is there any specialist or anyone who can help regarding the bluetooth update for Skoda superb mk2?
The head unit is 3T0 035 680 A on the label, but on the secret menu, it shows 3T0 035 680 G.

The telephone module is 5N0 035 730 B and I tried to replace it with 1K8 035 730 D for bluetooth streaming music and also because I don't like rSAP mode.
With the new module, the bluetooth is not available at all, I can't connect my phone, I don't even have the setting menu, and the phone button just put the unit on mute.

I have changed the coding using VCDS and there were no errors after.

I would like to know if it's just incompatibility or the new (used) module is faulty and if can do anything about or just need to a different one starts with 3C0?
