No dilemma cabman.......................has to be petrol blue.   B)

Nice car Colin, now I’m more impatient for end of March. Are the scuff plates front and back or just front?.

Lovely car. Interesting that you have the plastic trims over the wheel arches, which I thought only came on the 4x4 models ?

hows the ride on the 19” allloys, A’s some say it’s fine, other say it ruins the ride and makes it crash over bumps ?

Hi sootchucker,

The 4x4 has not got the plastic wheel arch because of slightly narrower tyres. I do believe it’s the extended wheel arch described in the brochure.

So is it just the 1.5 editions that come with the wheel arch trim?

Nicky,

All I can say the 4x4 edition doesn’t, went back to dealer to have a look at the rear wheel arch come door problem some have noticed and the 4x4 which I’ve got on order doesn’t have them, but I do know the plastic part is the wheel arch extension though. Shame mines not going to have them helps finish the looks off imho.

We have a 1.5tsi edition on order and I'm hoping it has the trim as I agree with you, it finishes off the arches nicely.

Also due to the design fault exposure, when ours is delivered I'm going to look to see if ppf is an option to protect the door paint.

The Irish configurator offers them as an option on the Karoq and that includes the 4x4's. They call them "Additional body cover on wheel arch and side sill" and the cost is €178 - or around £155 or so at current exchange rates.

Perhaps you guys can fit them later when they eventually make their way to the dealer parts dept...?

As per the title, have you taken delivery yet?

Hi Demon ordered our 1.5Tsi SEL manual in Moon White Metallic no extras on 10th January 2018 and collected it on 26th January 2018. First one registered in Leicestershire, so got lots of free stuff from the dealer, must be one of their best customers, never have wait long if you are not fussed about loads of factory options as they make a certain number of stock vehicles and SEL had perfect spec for Wife, front/rear parking sensors, reversing camera and bum warmers!

No not yet.

I last spoke to the dealer on Monday 19th march and he said it had been built and was just waiting for the final 'sign off'.     By now that should have happened, and my car should be 'winging' it's way to me.

Picked mine up last Friday, 1.5 SE Tech DSG in Quartz Grey, absolutely loving it, my only criticism is that the steering is VERY light, other than that it's great, very, very pleased, will try and get round to posting pictures when I get chance.

Thought I would post a clean pic of the happy lady with her new car.

Do you have drive mode settings? I use individual mode on my SEL so I can select sports mode settings for steering which improves matters a lot.

I have found different modes in the menu (Sport, Normal, Eco) but no individual mode (and no mode button) and I don't fancy having the gearbox in sport mode, fun for a while but becomes increasingly tiresome.

Here's some pics :)

What is this problem?

I think some owners was complaining about how inside the rear doors edges got muddy and when passengers where entering the car was getting dirty, must say I’ve not seen anymore complaints about this. The plastic part relates to the wheel arch extensions.

Thanks VRS, very smart car, and your wife is looking very smart too and has a very pleasing smile. :)

Picked up my SE Technology 1.5 TSI manual a couple of weeks ago on a 2 year PCH. Loving all the gadgets in there coming from an 11 year old motor.

Got mine yesterday, they had it in a room in the showroom and revealed it through frosted glass, made up with it.
