Flywheel buying options pls help

Featured Replies

Hello guys. I own skoda superb 2009. 2.0 TDI 125kw DSG 6 speed at  220k km. Some rattle noises coming from flywheel i guess, started thousand km ago for how long can i drive like that ?..what are my options ? Do i need to replace clutch with DMF (or is it regular flywheel ?! ), i need DSG oil and DSG filter right ? What part manufacturer do you recommend  ( if i can choose ). How much does it cost ? Thanks for your time ! :)

What I can see from my invoice:

03L105266DF flywheel

N 90665001 flywheel bolts

056105313C some clutch axel bearing

Total 960 euros full change at official dealer.

In the DSG I think it's just a flywheel that's needed: all the clutches are internal to the gearbox. I'm not sure if there are options outside Skoda for this, usually LuK or Sachs are used for manual cars.

Probably Sachs or LuK, they're the most common suppliers for clutches and flywheels to VAG. If you google the part numbers you should be able to find out.

The flywheel is external to the DSG transmission so there would be no need to open it during replacement of the flywheel, and therefore no need to change the fluid.

I have no idea what that axle bearing is or whether there is a need to change it.
