Hello, user @kmackmontecarlo has fixed his waste gate rattle with the clip designed for the 2.0 tsi, I bought the clip but haven't had success clipping it to the rod without restricting movement,  I also couldn't remove the heat shield completely which made it a little harder, has anyone else done it ?

Afaik the 1.2tsi cbzb/cbza waste gate closure problem was fixed by fitting a shim between the actuator and turbo housing and was done free as a dealer recall on pre 2012 models.

You are right, but that recall was because the rod would go out of bounds at would get stuck or something like that, this clip is to fix the arm rattle and doesn't affect performance at all.

 

Hi, did you fix the rattle? I have the same problem and wanted to try Anti rattle clip
