Pedalbox

Great bit of kit this !

On my previous manual vRS diesel, you could select 'sport throttle' in the modes and it worked well with the manual gearbox.

I changed to a DSG 4x4 vRS diesel, on which you can only select 'sport throttle' with the DSG in sport mode. The DSG in sport mode doesn't work well and always feels like it needs 1-2 more gears and better software (i.e. like the BMW DSG box !).

I'd tried an engine tuning box and it worked well engine wise, but the DSG was still very crude so I returned it. Speaking to DTUK they reckoned the pedal box would work well with DSG. I was pretty doubtful to be honest , but thought I'd give it a go, WOW !  Something so simple has turned an o.k .car back to a really enjoyable car, as it should always of been. The pedal box combined with the DSG box in normal D really works well - buy one, you won't regret it !
