Calm down kids!! I think all this car test stuff is so subjective and vague. How can you compare a fast family car with an upmarket sports job? Look at that Autoexpress survey. Octy 2 pipped by one car only. A Honda hot sports car. Well, surprise, surprise. They are comparing a lawnmower with a fridge.

Also, so they put the Octy 2 second. Fine - but which Octy 2? When I had Cavaliers I had a 2.0 GLi followed fairly quickly by a 130 bhp SRi. Well they might have roughly the same body, but everything else that matters was different. So you can't just talk about "Cavalier" or "Octy 2". Horses for courses. The Honda was marked down only on "practicality". Again, surprise, surprise. It's like marking down a Transit because it doesn't corner very fast.

You have to just get in, drive it, and say, yep, I like it [or not] and if it suits your pocket you buy it. End of road test.

Yes i`m late, but for those who care.

Driving style is more important than the car at the end,

so a bick finger to who think they are better with

a more expensive car. (I look at them in my rear-mirror)

vRS is also a reminder to the WRC and let that

be the best drivers around, a lot of them drive the

vRS when not working, so obviously it`s not a bat choice.

And btw, Top Gear was much better before Clarkson

and the comercial way of doing all the "tests".

Tiff and Vicky etc (the old clan) are far better in testing a car;

they can drive on the limit and beyond.

Take the childish look at the Bugatti lately,

no way the full potential was shown.

Tiff took the McLaren F1 for a shop besides the racing.
