Hey guys, does anyone know how to reinstall the glove box light without removing the glove box? My car was always missing the glove box light (car was pre ownded) and i never bothered sourcing one until recently and now i cant seem to install it in the slot without scratching the **** out of the glove box, anyone who has installed them will know how easily the glove box gets scratched.

Without trying to be funny, but how are you trying to fit the lamp?, I take it from inside the box with the lid open rather than from behind?.

 

When I did mine about two years ago, I found no advantage to having the box out, actually it was easier with it in.

 

Have you found the power cable and brought it though the opening first?, If so. it should just be a matter of fitting the lead to the lamp, turning the lamp to get the operating button into the hole, then readjusting the lamp to be in line with the hole and just push it in gently.
