you had to sign up to get the beta and they gave you an access code to download it from marketplace i think all the codes are gone now:thumbdwn:

Check out the offical site, some places are giving out codes still, mainly foreign ones now though, Europe has only just been added to the beta, nothing dodgy.

I also got my new xbox up and running for the first time today.

Still gotta get me an RCA to 3.5mm adaptor so running with no sound at the mo (wired up to PC TFT monitor using a VGA cable).

Did get my KVM switch and new Belkin surge protection set up, all my cables nice and neat again, and mounds of dust removed :lol:

I have not a lot of idea what to do re starting/joining games - only played PGR4 so far, still not opened Forza2.

You do find you get kicked out of some games by hosts.... But you find a good group eventually.

I'm currently into Forza 2 and COD4 having just got COD4 for xmas.

When you run the connection wizard, what does it say in the NAT box? It should really say "Open", if it says "Moderate" or "Strict" (I think it says strict) then it can cause problems.
