Thank you Arkaig for the picture.

Our current Yeti is cappu beige. Could post a pic but little point. It's one of those colours which looks different in different lights. We ordered it thinking it would be a sort of pale taupe/mushroom, but in 90% of UK light it just looks mid silver. Wouldn't have one again. New karoq will be black.

We've ordered an SE-L in Cappuccino beige after seeing the colour on a Kodiaq in the showroom. We really liked it.

We ordered the beige interior to lighten the inside, but were told there was a supply problem with beige Alcantara after ordering and that to keep beige we'd need to order a beige leather interior. We didn't want leather, so ended up ordering with black interior. I think the beige interior suits it better, but you'd need to check on supply before ordering.

My wife settled on the SE-L Karoq at the weekend after a test drive in about 10 different cars of various makes. The Karoq was by some distance the best car she/we drove.

Major change from her 10 year old Mazda 3. I am seriously impressed with the Karoq. I'm a Superb driver and got my second one last September, but I would have been really tempted by the Karoq, especially in SE-L spec, which has just about everything anyone would want or need.

Colour was the hardest choice . Initially it was Velvet Red (arguing that it wasn't really £900 just the difference over 'ordinary' metallic'), but we weren't impressed on a showroom car, where it seemed to be more Fire Engine red and really very bright. The demonstrator was in metallic green and there were a couple of showroom cars in Capp Beige, which looked quite classy. In the end my wife settled for the green, which we wouldn't have even considered until we saw it in the 'flesh' . I still quite like the Capp Beige as a colour. I agree with @Michael G that the Capp beige can look very different in different light.

Like @Luckypants you really need to see a Karoq in Capp beige to make up your mind.

In the UK, if you wanted beige interior you've always had to have leather as well so I don't know how your dealer thought you might be able to bet beige Alcantara.   Beige Alcantara interior available in some countries though.  I too would like to have the beige fabric interior (not leather) but Skoda go and spoil the beige, in my opinion, by also fitting a black headlining (whether seating is leather or, in some other countries, Alcantara).  In my opinion the black upholstery/dash/carpet makes the interior too dull, even if they do fit a light headlining in such cases.  A sunroof does help (providing the sun is out, which doesn't always happen in the UK)!

It was available as a no cost option on the configurator up until the beginning of February, shortly after the dealer informed us it was no longer available. The dealer was able to specify it in the ordering system, I saw him do it. So don't try to tell me it has never been available :wondering: Around the same time Superbs and Octavias were no longer available with beige alcantara. (and before you say those cars were never available with beige alcantara, I've seen and been driven in both).

A short Google session will show up that Skoda have had an issue sourcing beige alcantara.

I would like to thank everyone that has taken there time to give me advice on my colour choice, am still in limbo on which to choose.

Anything but cappacino beige! I had a Fabia in that shade and kept losing it amongst all the other grey cars in car parks! My Karoq is petrol blue and I love it !

Quartz grey. Pure class!

I’ve ordered quartz grey or is it blue? Because in some light i think it’s got a blueness about it.

Loving the Quartz Grey

  • 1 month later...

I went lava/petrol blue and beige leather. Seems like a good match, plenty of videos on youtube, French ones.

Quartz grey (dark grey, anthracite) is also popular.

I have seen cappuccino cream color indoors and it is okay, but it is a bit bland maybe. Not sure what it does outdoors.

Unattractive (to me) colors are energy blue and business grey, and, to a lesser extent: velvet red, candy white, meteor grey, magnetic brown.

Green seems to be a bad choice for its lesser visibility, prone to scratches etc. as someone said.

Hi. I had the same doubts when I bought my Octavia scout ten years ago. When it arrived I immediately realised that it was the right choice. It is a very classy colour. Every time I look at my Octavia I still admire the colour. I would have the karoq I have ordered in cappuccino beige but decided that I would have a complete change and go with Quartz grey. Regarding interior colour, definately beige trim. It will look super classy.

My current car is an Octavia in Quartz Grey with beige Alcantara interior - liked it initially, but in some instances the quartz grey looks drab & uninteresting IMO.  Have ordered a Karoq Edition in Candy White with the beige leather interior - I wanted the colour black but on seeing it in the metal was disappointed with the metallic effect in bright sunlight which made it look a pale shade of black. I wanted a deep ,rich black colour, like the Superb's.  I know any colour on the Edition, apart from Velvet Red, is cost free, but Candy White is now my preferred choice - my previous Octy was in Candy White with beige Alcantara & I loved it ! At the end of the day, colour choice is subjective so it's each to their own, but I urge anyone contemplating a choice to see it "in the metal" - photos & on line pics can be very misleading.

I completely agree! Ordered a Karoq in Candy White, a less expensive colour in SE L spec, as I liked the colour on my wifes Fabia. But on seeing Business Grey in the flesh at a different Skoda dealer I changed my order. Couldn't be happier.

The Business Grey looks silver in bright light, a shade of light metallic blue in dim light. I really love it.

As JKW says if at all possible check out the actual colour on the car.

I have ordered the only normal (no cost option colour) Energy blue for my SEL 1.5 DSG with the beige leather interior.  Cant wait for it to arrive.  Going to be mid June I think.

The first Karoq we saw back at Christmas week was quartz grey and when we were considering colours that and the red were top of our list, we were going for the Edition so metallic colours are included.  The red however is an extra cost, personally I'm glad we didn't only because it is a brighter red than the balls in the showroom make it appear and not what we would have been expecting.  We were trading in a black car so that was out and silver, well lots of cars seem to be silver however it seems Quartz grey is the most popular colour in the Karoq B)  In the end the decision was made as we bought our Karoq from a dealer that had one available to take away straight away with the options we were looking for and that was in quartz grey.

It is a nice colour, and very popular as you say.

I think I am more likely to see a quartz grey Karok on the roads than any other colour.

I've seen three so far, another Quartz Gret, one in Velvet red which i wasn't impressed with given the extra cost and one in white which looked nice but then it was spotless.
