Brakes seem to have got worse

Featured Replies

About 2 weeks ago my brake pedal seemed like it started getting more spongy and required more pressure being applied to the brakes for the car to stop. I took it to a garage and done a pressurised brake bleed. The brakes were then good for about 4 days before the same problem came. I done another brake bleed and then after 6 days they got worse and both occasions seemed to have happens after doing a handbrake turn in a car park as if air somehow got into the system. The car is a  2005 fabia vrs. Any ideas ?

I assume the handbrake system has its own calliper and brake pad set up as many cars do. If so, it sounds like the piston seals could be leaking. Have you seen fluid anywhere? Does it NOT go wrong if you don't make Ahem- non-road advised manoeuvres?
