I collected my Edition on May 29th but, prior to this, the dealer phoned to say the PhoneBox (wireless charger and signal booster) feature would not be installed so he said Skoda are offering me a refund of £280 which I accepted.

Sorry to be a pest, but was your refund actual cash in your bank, and not a credit for spending in the Skoda network?

Without giving too much information away if you don't want to, could you tell me where your dealer is...North East England, Wales, etc

  • Hmmm. I can't get it to charge. I was looking if I had to switch the charger on (like in my previous Sportage) but I can't find a way of doing this.   Im not sure...No mention of this was

My £280 was a refund "from Skoda" off the total purchase price of the new car, purchased from Startin Skoda, Worcester.

Thank you very much for your encouraging reply. Remains to be seen how Skoda respond now that I have firmly rejected their kind offer

Does anyone know if this charging pad feature is ever going to be available to be fitted to an already-delivered Karoq?

Best bet is calling Powick tomorrow and asking parts. Most things are a kit that can be purchased, might apply to the wireless parts. If it's not a simple fit then I'm sure they could quote a labour rate.

Mine was a reduction in the purchase price of the car, so a "cashback" if you like.
