sunroof

Featured Replies

Evening all, my Citigo 2013 SE RED with sunroof is just over 5 years old and still going strong. Wouldn't swap it unless we get the VRS!

Can anyone tell me, does the sunroof require any maintenance such as lubrication etc other than keeping it clean please?

I'd imagine the seals would require some level of lubrication every now and again just to protect against leaks and squeaks

Is White Lithium Grease the lubricant for this ?

I believe there is a special lubricant for sunroof/roof seals. I remember my dad bought some for his vw eos last week, i'll ask him what it's called later

That would be great. Thanks Vitas

The lubricant is called krytox, it’s meant for the vw eos but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work for this

I've got the VRS but I still won't get rid of the Citigo - cracking car, Grommit!

Thanks Vitas, appreciate that. Now wonder if I could fit a VRS engine in my Citigo!!!
