Felicia front brake rumble

Featured Replies

Has anyone come across a situation where you hear a scraping ,rumble on the front brake of a Felicia? It's my 1.3. I've also heard it on my pal's 1.6. Both brakes are working properly, the cradle mechanism is running freely. The noise is more noticeable when you first start out. It's got me confused.

No after 20 years of ownership, BUT you must remember the front brake discs are made of cast iron and they rust very quickly so when the brakes are applied first thing they will be removing that rust it all depends on how long the car has been standing and I see you live in the UK and we are not noted for the driest of country's.

Meaning once in the morning when moving the car from stop then nothing?

Ricardo, I'll try to be more exact tomorrow. I see how that could matter.
