Audience to aftermarket Radio

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone!

I have an Octavia II and I am trying to change my Audience radio for an Aftermaket Radio. The problem is after I connect everything there is no Sound...

I contacted the seller and he said that I need to connect the AMP cable on the radio to the DSP EIN cable on the Skoda.

The problem is that I don't have any ideia where the DSP Ein cable in the skoda is.

Can anyone help me with this??

Thanks in advance!!

Rui

what is the make / model of the aftermarket radio?

Sorry... should also have asked what model your car is!

Exact model

Year, original speaker / amp setup etc.

I am guessing it's one with the amp mounted under the passenger seat in which case you may have to run your own speaker wires from there to the head unit as i have a sneaky suspicion that you need a canbus signal to control the amp

Thanks!!

Is that for a skoda Octavia II?

From what I understand, all the communication (on/off/DSP settings) are all done via CAN-bus on a MK2 so there isn't a "remote on" pin.

You might need to ask what the seller means by a DSP EIN cable is as it's not a term I've come across in relation to the MK2.
