Hi all,

 

I don't get the Spotify symbol when plugged into my iPhone 8 on 11.3.1, not sure should I?

 

I launch Spotify on my phone, plug it into car and have to select "Now Playing". I can't choose playlists etc.. only back>forwards>shuffle.

Is it on the second page? Swipe left on the car screen.

Nope it's not on the second screen, just Whatsapp. Could it be because I am running a modifed version of Spotify  

Just want to know if it normally shows up?

So I tested and Spotify shows up on my other phone, so it's obviously just my copy of Spotify which causes the problem!

Just one last thing to check. Settings - General - CarPlay.  It’s not in the icon tray at the bottom, waiting to be dragged onto the CarPlay screen?  Noddy questions i know but always worth checking.
