New 19s for the L&K

Featured Replies

After owning the L&K for 18 months, and running it on the standard 18" Pegasus wheels with 235/45/18 Pirelli P7s, the time has come for a change

Today these 19" Audi Sidus have taken their place, shod with 245/40/19 Pirelli P7 Seal Insides

I personally think it's a vast improvement

I've also left the Audi centre caps in place, as they are not going to suffer from the dreaded Škoda whiteworm

Looks well Brimstock!!

They fill the arch so much better than the 18s. If Skoda did 19" Pegasus I'd be seriously tempted...

They'd need to be a lower offset and a bit wider maybe too

Liking the design, but to me they look smaller, at least in the comparison photo's in the OP...

Rial Luganos in 19 inch. Not the cheapest, but they look lovely

Look like Citroen or Peugeot alloys.

This is probably the best picture I've got since fitting the Sidus wheels, and I'm still really pleased with them

nice, but if you take a photo from the other side, do the wheels look "backwards"? :D

Yes, but you can't see both sides at the same time, so I don't care

The wheels themselves look nice but the Audi logo on them looks very strange on a Skoda.  Makes it look like you wish you had an Audi (sorry!)

I kind of agree. It's a very personal thing, but if Skoda wheel caps were available I'd choose to replace the Audi caps. I like the wheels themselves.

Honestly to me this looks like no, no and no... I checked images for few days just to try to fit it somehow into my head. Its an estate car not sports car. Simply for Superb best looking wheels (OF COURSE MY OPINION!) are 18 inch Pegasus (not dark version, normal version). 19's just look too big. The car design and 19's just don't go a long.

Caps are available, I found them on few web sites including http://eshop.skoda-auto.com/cz/en/b2c/rims#http%3A%2F%2Feshop.skoda-auto.com%2Fcz%2FCategoryOnlyResultsDisplayView%3FpageView%3Dimage%26catalogId%3D10051%26displayMode%3Ddepartment%26categoryId%3D12501%26langId%3D-1%26storeId%3D10001%26identifier%3D1533202800349

The owner said its about quality, but i had no issues on octy for 5 years so not sure what we're talking about.

Agree on the Pegasus, but the L&K does look better IMO, especially on a white car.

Depends on taste. In real life I saw both and I prefer normal Pegasus when they're clean. They just look more special. Actually Arteon's 19 pegasus look better, but on Arteon. The 18 dark on Superb would also look awesome.
That's just my taste ofc. I would never argue every one has different taste, that's why so many different wheels exist =)

Do you mind telling us how much the wheels cost? Or alternatively wheel/tyre cost total if you prefer. Just ordered RS6 replica 19" with Michelin PS4 235/35 tyres for my VRS245 at just under £1,500 for the set.

That sounds an awful lot of money for reps

I trawled around for individual wheels which were being sold off by Audi dealerships and managed to get all four for less than £750, then about £400 on four tyes
