Does anyone know the stock disc size on a 2011 Monte Carlo 1.6 TDI?

I bought 256mm discs and were told they were too big? 

Don't whether someone was ripping me off or not?! Not confident enough to do them myself unfortunately. 

256mm should be the size required for the 75bhp and 90bhp, 288mm for the 105bhp models.
