Front bumper insert types

To be honest, I haven't been going through the parts catalogues to see the differences in types, but I've sourced a new one, and it is slightly different than mine (didn't bother to check the differences on the photo while ordering online, I was actually only going for the lower chrome trim to replace mine. Is the only difference to the newer part the front licence plate holder, or is it due to something else? (the lane assist sensors are usually under the bumper, so it can't be due to them, and the front radar for the active cruise control wasn't available before '15 models if I'm correct). How do your bumper inserts look like?
