Updated my gps map with the August update, now routing is hit or miss “route calculation failed. No navigation data available for the entire route”

Also I get traffic updates via phone link and that no longer works.

I too have this problem - it appears to be when I use a post-code rather than a specific road/street, and where using Connect Trip Planner transfer!

Update on this problem - it would appear that if the destination is "off-road" the system cannot cope - but if you input the post code, then use "find destination on map" and zero the cross-hairs onto the nearest road - it works! Bit long-winded but we'll have to wait to the November GPS update to see if they solve the glitch!

I have the same problem of route calculation failures which seem to have occurred after the August update. After re-downloading the maps and also resetting the system to factory settings (none of which made any difference) I am coming to the conclusion that the routes cannot be calculated if they pass through roads marked in 'grey' on the maps. E.g. I live on a private estate and all my local roads are coloured 'grey'. Route calculations from within my estate fail with  the error message shown above by IANAYR. However, if I drive just outside the estate on to 'white' roads, the route calculations work OK. My Skoda dealer had no knowledge of the problem and neither did the Skoda help line.

My traffic info on the maps is also not working.  I just hope the November update sorts this out. 

I reverted to previous map release, spent hours trying to fix it.

after reverting routes and locations worked again.

this is serious failure number two, the other is TMC data to update the map and routing in real time failed after a year, We do not have global radio here and use mobile data but Skoda wanted me to buy a informatics package wirh over a pound a week cost just to get traffic updates.

not on Skoda, I paid for the traffic update licence when I bought my car.

changing car next year , if you want me to stay a customer fix this.

 

Does anyone know if the relevant people in Skoda who are responsible for correcting errors etc. in the mapping systems ever read any of our comments? If so, it would be nice to get a response from them - just to know they are aware of the problems and plan to deal with them.
