Eurocarparts sale

Featured Replies

Sale on now - up to 50% off items - I bought 5L oil for £20 (For VRS).

Just checking if someone can look and check if this item number, 10444079A (Brembo discs) would be correct one for the VRS - with sale you are getting 2 for price of 1.

There's always a sale on there, you have to be really careless not to get huge discounts on their theoretical prices.

288mm is the standard vRS size, so should fit unless someone's modified yours.

That oil isn't particularly cheap either, you can get the stuff they'd use at a dealership for £21, delivered to your door: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-VW-VOLKSWAGEN-5-LITRE-QUANTUM-PLATINUM-ENGINE-OIL-5W-40-ZGB115QLB00521/263545434641?hash=item3d5c883211:g:9vUAAOSwFOZbF~qs

Also TPS had a deal on oil a short while ago, look out for one of them to make a better saving on genuine oil instead IMO. As for brakes I prefer the 312 from the Octavia , or various other VAG models, fitted to the Fabia over the 288s that are standard.

GSF parts are usually cheaper with their 60% off discounts

TPS by me is £13 for 5l of oil.

Eurocarparts is so rarely the cheapest place to get stuff (with "sale")  but it is convenient as they usually have stock

You need to be on their mailing list to be aware of some of their flash sales, also twice a year they do proper discount, I've grabbed stuff that I'd need soon that way.

Which reminds me, I have a pair of discs and pads on my garage bench waiting to get fitted to older daughter's late 2009 Ibiza, bought with her complaints about brakes in mind and during a proper sale - if she trades her car in before handing it over to me to fit these parts, I'll just take them back and get a refund as I still have the sales receipt, they seem to take stuff back up to a year later.

Also, GSF is 35 miles away, if it seems safe to order on line without wrong parts appearing, and they are cheaper than ECP I'll use them mail order.
