Parking ticket holder

Featured Replies

One of the nice little details Škoda adds to the Superb (ice scraper under fuel lid, umbrellas in front doors, "cargo elements" in boot and) is the parking ticket holder – the clear plastic clip in the windscreen, driver's side.

Well, when you are cleaning the inside of your windscreen, be ultra careful of the clip. It is fragile. I broke mine off today. I thought it might just have been displaced, but the plastic shows signs of breakage.

I'm about to go blu tack it back into place, unless someone can make a better suggestion?

Thanks.

I thought all Skoda models had the parking ticket plastic but it appears not. My current Citigo doesn’t have it but my previous Citigo did!

I removed mine because it was noisy over bumps ^^. Didn't feel fragile though.

I’m currently using a Citigo courtesy car which is quite new and that has it. Bit of a poverty spec version as well, lots of blanks where buttons could be and no start-stop.

Still, it moves okay, and it’s a beautiful pea green colour, which is starting to grow on me   Mind you, you can tell other drivers notice it :D

Only slightly annoying thing is the dials seems to be unilluminated without the lights on and it’s quite recessed and dark. And the adjustable side arms on the inbuilt phone holder seem to have been jammed.

I do like the green colour! Just wish and hope they’d do a more powerful engine like the UP!

The phone cradle resets if you press a button in the centre between the two side arms.

Only the top arm released when I pressed that, the side arms just stayed where they were, solid. But I’ll give it another go, thanks.

As you look at the phone holder there is another button to the left of the Top arm release button (next to it ).  This button releases the side holders.

Ah yeah that’s right. I usually end up taking the unit off and looking for it!

I've hit my ticket holder a couple of times while cleaning the inside of my windscreen - it hasn't broken.

Feels quite solid in fact.

So there is! Completely invisible next to the other button. Thanks for that

I've blu tacked mine back into the frame. Seems to be holding up well, so far...
