Change of wheel sizes

Featured Replies

It's getting to that time of year again when thoughts turn to the correct tyres......

On my old Superb II L&K I had 18" wheels so stuck with my Cross Climates unless it got really bad then I have a set of 16" fitted with winter tyres. But now I have my Sportline with its 19" wheels cross climates is not an option. To make it worse the tyre size 235/40/19 appears to be a rarer size. If Skoda had used 235/35/19 not a problem....

Now the dilemma is do I fit a set of 235/40/19 winter tyres on or do I try to source some smaller alloys with winters and if so does anyone know an easy way to check compatibility to the car in terms of size

I had this issue when i purchased my sportline a few months ago. Originally thinking i could get some steels and have winters on but looking into it dont think it was that easy. So ive decided on some genuine superb 18s. This is the thread i started some info and links to check what will fit!

These are the wheels i found. Guy sold his s3 for a kodi, 18s with near new nokian winter tyres fitted for 550!
