Seats: Sportline vs L&K

Featured Replies

+1 - seat heaters on "2" gets pretty hot with my leather seats.

i find it unbearable after 5-10 mins.

"1" is nice to keep the bum and back comfortably toasty for long periods :)

So my car went in for its 1st service, and when i booked it i requested a courtesy car, they gave me a brand new superb sel exec (only had 34 miles on the odo) with the same engine as mine 2.0tsi 220.

I am guessing these seats are the same as the L&K seats minus the logo. If they are, i definately prefer my sportline seats.  I found them to be lesss supportive and my behind slides about more.

Again this is something personal to everyone and some prefer the non sportline seats.  I didnt think it would be "that" much of a difference. So i would suggest trying both not just in a showroom but on a test drive on which you feel is "BEST SUITED" to your needs.

When I changed my sportline (66) for my L&K (18) I would readily have stayed with the Alcantara which were very comfortable. The leather seats in the L&K do seem to require the lumbar support to be tweaked regularly just to be ok as my better half has the car for work and I am only aloud it at weekends or evenings.

Best part about the L&K seats is that they come in the L&K car B)

I'm also debating about Superb Sportline vs L&K. I test drove the Style and L&K and liked the L&K much better. Haven't tried the Sportline yet, I'm planning on driving to Limerick at weekend to test drive a 2018 Superb Sportline diesel with 190 bhp.

I believe the Sportline doesn't have Sat nav?

Sportline will have sat nav also, all depends on spec but 99% of L&K and sportline will have sat nav.

L&K has more goodies if, of course, they’re important to you. If they are and you can afford the difference, I’d go for the L&K, or you’ll keep wondering why you didn’t. It was a easy for me as I wanted heated seats all round, as the family had enjoyed those on the MKI. The fact it also had a TV, ventilated seats, rear seat release, a cream interior, 276bhp and I knew the original owner, how he kept it and it’d only covered 18k, all made it a no brainer.

Whee can you get an L&K, or any Superb for that matter, with 276 bhp. I would love automatic version too.

I test drove a really nice 2018 Volvo S90 D4 190 bhp automatic yesterday. Very compressed. It will probably come down to Volvo S60, Volvo S90 or Skoda Superb for me....

Meant impressed, not compressed, they're not that small 😁😂
