Lol.. easy. just dont keep the car long enough for the bushes to wear :D

So the bushes will wear quicker with this mod?

In all honesty how much difference does it make?

No.. if anything it will reduce bush wear by limiting the movement.

difference? ooo about a inch on my car!

Try and "turn" one of your front wheels when the handbrake is on.. and itll move back and forth.. this is the play in the bush that udders stop (well not stop totally but greatly reduce) this leads to a slightly better turn in and better steering feel.. i rate it above the effect the front strut brace has

didn't you have new poly bushes at the same time as the udder though col??

so you went form knackered standard bushes to new polybushes +udders?

forgive me if i'm wrong like just trying to get a clear picture of it :)

... which doesnt matter now coz ive found a better solution

Could it be this?? :P

I had new poly bushes for the front wishbone bushes.. but if you see the layout of the fabia wishbones, the front bush is basically a "pivot" and all the movement is in the rear bushes (my rear bushes havent been changed yet) but it does make a big difference.

Could it be this?? :P

lol someones been researching...

Aww you have to go and spoil it!! :P

Have you got/fitted this mod yet Hell'? Any improvements?

Are there any OEM bushings like that? Maybe for Ibiza Cupra or some sport versions of our suspension?

just been quoted

Not arrived yet or not been back to my parents house to check. i'm popping back at the weekend so i'll have a go at fitting then. Sounds VERY easy by the looks of it! Especially after looking under my car I can't believe I didn't think of doing such an easy mod before

i've changed my mind, i'm going tonight. i'll do a little "how to" if i get the time unless anyone has any objections and wants to keep this "secret".

So, do we have an OEM version? Not especialy for skoda .. but something that fits. Rubber bushings are fine, polyurethane is tops. In my opinion the prices are a bit too high for such a not-high-tech thing.
