Not to be disrespectful but maybe you should also read some of his comments towards people I was not having a crack about the text speech more so his disrespectful attitude when replying to people, this is not the first time this discussion has been aired but I got one am not the sort of person to roll over and have my tummy tickled and if I'm being spoken to like a piece of trash then I will say something hope this helps clear things up.

You just won't quit will you, your response was completely disproportionate, you insulted me personally because I asked you not to use text lingo and now you're suggesting that my posting history consists of numerous and repeated insults to others over the last 8 or 9 years during which I have posted thousands of times and received nearly 1.8k likes and thanks for my help.

For the last time, let it go, there is nothing you can say or do that will make you right.

Do you understand?

Courtesy costs nothing, Sep. You do have a record of being arsey with people. Yes, you certainly know your stuff when it comes to cars, there is no doubt of that, but there is no need to be disrespectful to people.

I'm not, look at what I wrote, it was mild at best and not personal and it also contained relevant advice.

The guy lost his temper and over-reacted, I stepped on his toe so he punched me in the face, do you seriously think that's ok?

I don't want to argue with you. I respect your knowledge but I think you know you can be ascerbic. That's all I want to say.

I'm not looking for an argument either and I don't disagree that I can be a bit sharp on occasions, but I do expect grownups to have thicker skins.

I can handle these issues myself but I really don't need others wading in, especially when I'm so obviously trying to draw a line under the matter.

This is relevant to me because my driver's door has developed an annoying rattle after repairing the window regulator. After everything was put in place I realised *everything* WAS NOT in place since the little foam buffer that goes around the locking pin was in my pocket the whole time. I hope that's the cause of the rattle, only that I haven't had the time to have a go at disassembling the door card again.
