As there are only 300 coming into the uk, I think there will be enough people who can afford them so that demand will mean no discount.

Not me BTW.

Rather save £7,000 have 2 less seats and 60bhp more with the Seat Ateca Cupra 296bhp and 0-60mph in 5.2 seconds rather than the 7 seconds for the heavier 237bhp diesel Skoda.

'CUPRA Ateca'.    Fast and Furious and not a SEAT.

Remember SEAT and VW spent lots of money or maybe not launching a 'Performance arm' of SEAT.  That will kid those American and Australians.

Thanks I know it's not a SEAT anymore but everyone on here it not blessed with your knowledge so made it clear but technically incorrect for them.:inlove:

VW Group just wasting money again on smooching the Media & Motoring  Journalists and paying for advertising if even those that have VW Group vehicles are not aware that there is now the CUPRA brand.

Just read a review of the Cupra Ateca that summarised as "buy a Golf R - The Ateca has a bigger boot - but inferior everything else."

I am reading reviews and watch ones saying get the Cupra Ateca rather than a Golf R.

Higher and easy in and easy out SUV type cars suit many older or infirm or just people rather than the lower cars of the Golf / Leon / Octavia /Passat or smaller like a Polo type.

Either way someone looking at a Diesel Kodiaq i(240ps) is maybe not wanting a Ateca (Karoq) size petrol.  The luggage space being less.

'Sponsored'.

maybe.. but I experienced dealers telling me theres a 6-8 month waiting list for a kodiaq of any model if you order a factory build one but multiple dealers still offered me thousands off a new model in return for a deposit and order- despite the rare availability.

Allocation per dealer is roughly 3 cars each for 2019 so each dealer should receive one Kodiaq Vrs every 4 months or so.:o

Just not correct in reality.

I ordered a factory build Kodiaq on 20/12/18 with estimated delivery 16 weeks. SUK Customer Services have today confirmed a factory scheduled (which could yet change) build week 9, ie w/c 25/2/19 - so on track currently for delivery within about 16 weeks from date of order.

Which is exactly what I said on the line above your actual order confirmation. God I'm SIMPLY CLEVER. must have Skoda blood running through my ice cold veins. NO SENSE NO FEELING works for me. Happy New Year everyone on Briskoda may 2019 bring you Good Health and Improved Wealth. Seems I am a POET also. God I'm wasted on here with so much talent, must ring Simon Cowell. The first price in Estonia was 39 900 euros, but then someone realised they can ask more and now the starting price is 44 600.-

I had mine ordered almost fully loaded plus some discount at 49 900.-.
