Hi,  surprised that I couldn’t find this on the Forum, but my OSF headlight has changed to a red/pink.  The brightness has not dropped, but is this just an indication of imminent failure?  Or is there a cure?

I assume you have xenon headlights?

The change in colour to pink is called colour shift due to the amount of use.

I would recommend replacing both bulbs.

As above, you’ll be surprised how much brighter new lamps will be compared to  your 7 year old ones. Just make sure you buy from a reputable place there are lists of cheap fakes on eBay & Amazon.

Yup, Xenon bulbs go this colour near end of life. Osram Cool Blue Intense (not actually blue) would be my recommendation for replacement.

Clean the blood off first... if the red/pink colouring remains, then start looking at replacement!!
