Re-worked Geminis and winter tyres

Featured Replies

Very shiny, they look great! Glad you retained the diamond cut finish - I've seen a few refurbs that remove it so the whole alloy is painted and they look dull by comparison.

Exactly what I plan to with mine!

are they non-directional winters?  Be interested to see what they are for when mine wear out.

no they are directional, i think the brand is dimax which id heard of before but they were the budget choice on blackcircles. £240 all in.

This looks brilliant mate. I really like it!

Has the refurbisher kept existing diamond cut, or they've rebuilt everything? If latter I suppose it costed a fortune?

Where are the pics with them mounted?

Look good, how much was the wheels refurbishment if you don’t mind me asking

they had to weld material on as the PO had kerbed them quite badly (i swapped them for 19s when i bought the car) and id planned to keep them for winters. There wasn't enough metal to cut into so the process was; strip the wheel; weld the kerbing; then diamond cut back again. The guys that did them said it would be no problem to cut them again they just add to the areas that are thin.

its not cold enough to fit them here, temps are in double figures and i have to ceramic coat (Gyeon Q2 rim) them first which i'll do this week.

it was £300 all in including fitting and balancing the tyres, disposing of the old ones. IM glad i had them diamond cut as IMHO they look so much better than solid black.

They look great! Can’t wait to see them on the car, they look much better than the grey colour on Gemini’s IMO.
