  • Here it is along with cumbrian accent and a complete lack of production values!!

  • Yeah the tint bit in the middle changes!

  • Theres lots of different combinations, one just has speed and fuel. Others have range or sat nav or multiple things. Its taking some getting used to. You can personalise certain screens too

Oh, now I see. Sorry, I didn't look closely at the numbers. Just assumed (obviously incorrectly) that the centre dial was the speedo. :blush

Presumably there'll be a 'classic view' showing both speedo and rev counter in analogue format?

Thanks. We must have been typing at the same time.

I have the VW version in my Golf, but there's no option (that i've found so far) to move the dials around, other than shrink them slightly when in nav mode.

Couldn't help notice the speedo only goes upto 160mph but our MY18 analogue dials in the Special Edition read upto 180mph which is useful when your Vrs has over 330bhp like mine and can reach a genuine 170mph. Not that customisable if it only reads to 160mph.:D

Most cars sold in Europe are type approved as hard speed limited to 155mph. If yours can genuinely do 170mph, it has had the speed limiter removed. Hopefully your insurance company know about this and not just about the increase in power.

Going to need one hell of a road before it becomes a factor. Having bounced the rev limiter on a 180bhp motorbike at 186mph I can appreciate how long thats going to take a car to get there.

I wonder if it can in this view?

Hits 145mph in under 1 mile and maximum velocity at 2 miles from a standing start.:clap:Even the diesel speedo went upto 170mph.

Two miles of clear straight road. Sounds like an every day event. Anyway I'll leave it at that

So much need. Shame.

Nice dash display. As you said, acceleration-wise, bikes are where it’s at.  If you had the money though.... this put an immaculate 911 Turbo in the shade a bit

The motorway to Hull ( forget the number)

During a hands-free call in the early 00's the person on the other end asked after about 12 mins "what's that drowning noise" twas a O1 1.9 TDI flat out at 128mph. That road has F all traffic on it.

Nearest motorway to me is about 50 miles away on tractor, truck and granny laden A roads with about 3 miles of dual carriageway and lots of hate
