Felicia Pickup Rear Suspension Panels Help

Featured Replies

Hi, I have an X Reg (2000) Skoda Felicia project and looks like one of the previous owners has had a mare with a welder. Looking at the previous MOT's it failed in 2017 on excessive corrosion to the rear suspension component mounting so I'm assuming someone did this to try and sort it. I'm trying to work out how best to sort this out. I was thinking of cutting out the panels and replacing them with a new ones but no idea where to find them. Anyone got any suggestions?

There are no remaining new turrets for Felicia pickups (except maybe in Czeckia, who normally won't ship over borders because they trade COD a lot).

Thanks for the reply. So I'm guessing realistically its either get lucky with a donor vehicle or fabricate my own.

Nope, even in Czechia it's hard to find pickup-specific parts. Original parts are not available anymore and chinese manufacturers never bothered to make parts for pickup.

Hi I have similar problems with my one.. let Me know how you get on!

Surly some one can cut out the rust and weld in new metal I understand it is going to cost if it was my car I would spend on it, it's not every day one sees a Felicia pickup here in the UK I am 75 and have never seen one on the road.

I have a complete Pick-up body rolling chassis out the back with zero rust on the suspension panels, with doors and bonnet but no tailgate.

It is in what I would call 95% condition - a modicum of body work and a repaint.

It is in SW France. Free to anyone who wants to arrange collection!

How did you get on. I’m in the same predicament.
Max.

Thanks for the response, I watched on you tube a restoration of a pickup and they used Felicia rear turret mounts to repair theirs. So I ordered some from the Czech Republic. Skoda-parts.com. for 112 euro delivered which I thought was a good price.
