Your best bet is probably ebay,  someone who is selling the books as have sold the car

 

Remember that most of the front end (with engines and transmissions) was identical to mk2 Fabia.  

Much more common, so possibly easier to find these

Not exactly a King's ransom though.

You can download an enormous amount of info in an hour, given a good broadband connection.

Well, you can register for free. You then need to pay to access the documents

 

It's worth using a 'print to pdf' function so you can save anything useful for later. Given an hour, you can probably get most of what you'd need.

Or find the info in the 'Individual vehicle information' tab where everything is in pdf form already, that you can download directly.
