Gone and bought a Rapid

Featured Replies

After 10 years in MkI and MkII Fabias I've gone and bought a Spaceback.
1.6TDi, Race Blue Elegance with Sat Nav.
Pick up next week.

Had a MK1 Fabia , three Toledos and one Rapid. The Rapid is very much a bigger version of the Fabia. The Fabia has the better ride and the Rapid/Toledo loads more space. I have just changed back to the Toledo from a Supeb 280 and I can confirm that the Superb was a subtly brilliant motor. However it was too big, too fast and too thirsty for me. I feel more comfortable driving the Toledo. Enjoy your Rapid. I don't think that you will regret your purchase!

You dingbat... The steering wheel is on the wrong side.

Fixed it for you :)

Das ist ein schönes Auto, Ja.

Is it true in Germany that the number plate is registered to the owner and not the vehicle? In other words when you exchange vehicles you take the number plate with you. That seems commonsense to me as the owner can be easily identified.

What happens to the Fabia, surely a RHD car in Germany isn't going to sell or be taken in part exchange?

Are you bringing it back to the UK to sell?
