Thanks to Briskoda

I have had my Roomie about three weeks now.I picked it up from London.

Drove it back about 100 miles drove lovely was comfortable and good on fuel.

Next day found that remote wasn't working correctly.After a night of rain front wipers stopped working.

After going through the car wash electric windows stopped working.The windows and wipers did start working again.

After reading a lot of posts my first port of call was the front drivers door wiring loom.Sure enough I found broken wires that had been bodged up.

Replaced the loom with a new one remote now working correctly.After checking I had power to the mirror switch fitted a new switch and they now work. Removed the front wipers and the plastic cover under the wind screen to get at the channel under neath as suggested.A few leafs found and was mainly dry.How ever where the wiring loom comes out from the top of the wing (passenger side) was very wet. blew this off with my air line and the channel.Sprayed the wire with WD40 and covered it with a piece of rubber tube secured with electrical ties.Only time will see if this has helped.

My point is the knowledge base on Briskoda helped me to get to the electrical problems very quickly.

So a big thank you to all past and present who have taken the time and effort to make Briskoda a brilliant forum
