Cannot help with that but how you finding the new motor? Still waiting for mine......

Also keen for some VCDS updates, can meet anywhere around Yorks/Humber area so 2for1 :blush??

If you check @Gizmo‘s signature he has a VCDS owners map linked in it - will help you see who’s in your area.

I messaged some local people on the map last week but got no replies yet

How much are the gadgets to buy so you can do yourself??

OBDeleven is fairly cheap - have a look on amazon - but you need an android phone. VCDS is a lot more expensive. Loads of threads on here about them, including one very recently.

I think some people were getting a bit fed up with people asking for VCDS/OBDeleven advice, ignoring it and then pleading for help when everything went belly up.

VCDS is from £225 - £500 for a full blown professional kit. I believe it's they more advanced and mature system.

OBDeleven is around the £100 mark. A newcomer and still developing.

If only you'd posted a month ago, I was in Leeds quite a bit. Back down south now, but if you're ever passing...

Dongle is £35 and Pro activation is £22. Absolute bargain for what it can do for the money.

According to their Facebook page, the iPhone app will need a v2 dongle which is yet to be released.
