Part number/correct name for “lower ball joint covers”

Featured Replies

So I have some rubber covers that have split and need sorting before MOT. They are near the track rod ends/wish bone. Unfortunately I don’t have any photos of the area in question.

can anyone point me in the right direction

There are two track rod ends and two ball joints which have rubber covers, the steering rack has two rubber gaiters and there are four CV joint rubber boots.

Is there anything on your car that is not actually broken? :D

Outer CV boots on the driveshafts, at a guess.

Casting my memory back to earlier in this sad tale, it originally sounded like it was either a TRE dust cover or a lower swivel dust cover, another guess!
