Diesel Air Lock

Featured Replies

Hi

I am helping a friend with his Skoda Fun, fitted with the 1.9 SDI engine. We think there is an air lock in the fuel and have loosened the bleed nipple (see photo) and cranked it over but still no fuel comes out. Do you need a vacuum pump on this nipple to get rid of the air,

Thanks

Can you take a picture from a bit further away so we can see the fully story including the pipes from the fuel filter?

I would keep that bleed shut and crack the injector lines instead.
